How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4436407 / 4738ER1002A Tub To Pump Hose

This is the second time that I've had to replace the drain hose on my LG washer. It is a good washer, but this hose only lasts about 3 years (so I am on hose number 3). It is a relatively easy fix, requiring just a screwdriver and some pliers. The hardest part is removing the dryer from the stack and then tipping the washer over on it's side to get to the hose. This is a design problem from LG and I hope that they have fixed it in newer models. I was very pleased with the service that I got from Appliance Parts Pros. Determined that the water leak was coming from the Tub to Pump Hose. The local appliance parts store said they quit carrying LG parts because it was so difficult to get the parts from LG. Found a leaking hose on my LG washer. Ordered the part around 3 pm. The new part was on my doorstep by noon the next day. Surprisingly fast shipping. Great price. Very happy! 

I only ordered the part for my elderly neighbor who is very handy. He replaced the part in under an hour just by taking out the back panel. He used a hose clamp on the front tube. It was much easier to secure it with the hose clamp according to him.

Replaced rubber part with hole-looked easy for the man in the video. Girl hands are not as big or strong so it was harder for me. But it worked and I was happy to save $$ 

Researched for the part and ordered. received it within three days of purchase. 

Bought the replacement drain bellows and the part worked great. Took back access panel offf, but found easiest way was to lay machine down on its front supported by wood. Accessing the hose from the bottom was a piece of cake. 2 minutes and fixed. 

I googled the issue. I was able to determine that my particular washer has an Achilles Heel of this particular hose part on the underside of the washer. I googled the part needed (including price and fast shipping) and arrived at AppliancePartsPros.com as the best option. The part arrived 2 days later. OUTSTANDING! Repair was an easy part changeout.
