How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5783474 / ADP73694301 Fan Assembly

Remove all shelves and bins out of refrigerator and all shelves and bins out of freezer to remove center back Center duct assembly to replace blower motor remove glass out of shelf and replace outer support reinstall all parts parts fit just like original good quality 

Turned out to be the fan for the ice maker. The fan for the evaporator was next to it so I replaced it also with new rubber mounts. The fans were 15 years old. The fridge works great now. I have replaced the ice maker twice since new in 2007. Very easy fixes, just watch the videos. I have used AppliancePartsPros.com now for about 20 years. 

Replaced fan motor and blade Cleaned all the ice built up. Everything wrks great and frig cools better 

Replaced both the fan Motor and the Motor assembly . Since I was taking it apart it only made sense to replace both motors and blades. I watched the video online before attempting the repair. After viewing the video , the repair was rather simple. It took approximately 45 minutes to complete. Now everything is quite and working properly. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros. 

I replaced the evaporator fan motor. However, the motor I received had 1 of the 3 wires cut. I taped them together and it worked fine. 

Replaced fan and motor. Was basically remove the drawers and slides, then remove the icemaker, remove the access panel and disconnect the motor, then pull out the rear panel. Then remove the motor bracket to get access to the motor. Next remove the fan blade and remove the motor. Then reverse the steps to complete the repair. Took about 30 mins start to finish. I've had to replace a few things on this LG and find that its pretty easy to work on. 

I bought a new Evaporator fan motor & fan blade. I had watched the video provided by appliance parts pros which showed in good detail how to make the repair. I’m a little older and not so flexible so it took me about an hour from start to finish. It was a pretty easy fix and I saved A ton of $$ doing it myself. 

Order parts. 

STILL BROKEN Problem still exists after changing the evaporator motor, takes about one day before code reappeared 

Ordered replacement seal for freezer door and a new fan. Installed both and refrigerator is working fine.
