Thomas W Manassas , VA March 18, 2019 Appliance: Model LFX33975ST (02) LG er 1f error code (ice maker fan) I only needed the Bracket Assembly motor, not the DC Motor or Fan Assembly that I also ordered so I will be sending those back. The repair was extremely straightforward with a few bumps along the way. All told it took me about an hour. I started with shutting off the breaker for the refrigerator and putting all of the frozen food in coolers. Then I removed the drawers and the bracket for the drawer rails on the left side (as your facing the refrigerator). I then proceeded to gently pry off the back panel of the freezer, starting at the upper left corner. It was completely frozen in place so this took a little time. When I was able to partially pull the panel off I saw that it was chunk of ice frozen to the ice maker fan insulation and the wire bundle going to the coils. Once I melted all of that the panel lifted right out after removing the 3 wire connectors in the upper right of the back of the freezer. I then removed the four screws holding the fan in place and some electrical tape holding wires together. Used the same screws to put the new fan in place, and a re-ran and taped the wires. I reinstalled the back panel starting at the bottom and working my way around the bottom left clockwise. Pretty simple work and saved a $100 visit fee. Harvey H West Hartford , CT December 22, 2014 Appliance: Model LG LFX25960ST My lg refrigerator beame very nosiy i determined that is was the evaporator motor was the problem First let me say not only were the prices of the parts great. But they also arrived lightning fast. Rather than just replace the motor. I ordered the fan motor, fan and all related parts as well as the grille panel. Since I was not sure whether I could remove the old grille panel without breaking it or not. I was correct I broke a corner off the old panel as I removed it. While I had the panel off I used a hair drier to defrost and dry off the evaporator coil. After that is was simply a matter of removing the old fan assembly. Then assembling the new fan motor, dampers, motor bracket and fan and attaching the assembly to the new grill panel. Then reinstalling the panel, drawer track and drawer. The only hard part to the repair was removing that drawer and drawer track. Only removed one side of the draw track to clear enough room to remove grille panel. I refrigerator now is working perfectly it is now so quiet I barely even hear it running. Robert B Madison , WI October 09, 2019 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LFX31925ST ER FF code on the front of the refrigerator After clearing ice from the freezer fan area (twice) did not solve the problem, we presumed that the freezer fan/motor had stopped functioning. We looked up the parts on AppliancePartsPros website and ordered. The parts arrived within a day and a half. After watching a couple of installation videos, the parts were fairly easily replaced using standard screwdrivers. The freezer now works great! Sam P Columbia Station , OH March 03, 2020 Ice maker error code After I got the parts I looked up a Youtube video on making repairs to a Kenmore Refrigerator. Even though the models shown were slightly different, I managed to disassemble the freezer and back panel and change out the parts. So far the ice maker has been working perfectly. You got me the right parts for a good price and gave excellent delivery. You also recommended I get the additional fan blade and fan motor, which I also replaced. Hopefully this will prevent any future failures so I don't have to go through another disassembly. Rene L Eureka , MT January 16, 2019 Appliance: Model LFX31945ST/02 I have an LG french door frig and the ice maker quit working. I researched on line for the problem and ordered a motor assembly from appliance parts pros I ordered the wrong part so couldn't fix the problem however when I took the freezer panel apart to see the motor and fan, I realized it was full of ice which caused the fan to stop working. Once I realized I had ordered the wrong part number, I called Appliance Parts Pros for advise. They asked for the frig serial number and were able to provide the correct part. The mistake I made was to trust what I read online. I should have asked the experts first. With ice removed from the cooling fan area and without replacing the motor, the ice maker works fine now. The second motor and fan I received, will be kept on hand for when this problem happens again. I must say that I was very impressed with AppliancePartsPros advice and with a customer focused attitude. From now on my first call for appliance help will definitely be with AppliancePartsPros. I returned the motor that I had ordered incorrectly and waiting for a refund. Thank you APP as you have a happy customer.
