How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5214765 / MEE61841401 Oven Ignitor

Ordered the LG ignitor. Watch the video on removing the oven door, it's easy, just flip up two latches and lift the door off. Two screws removed to allow the oven floor to be removed, then the a few more to remove the metal plate covering the burner and ignitor. Remove two botls that hold the ignitor in place. Disconnect the wiring with the old one, clip the new one in place and reassemble the oven. Takes about 15 minutes. 

Having recently replaced an igniter on my old gas clothes drier, it didn't take too long to diagnose this problem. It's a very easy job. I was surprised at the much higher cost of this igniter compared to the drier. Maybe the heat exposure is greater on this one, but it was 4x - 5x the cost. Went well, oven works now! 

Replaced it with the part provided by your company. It fit perfectly and worked instantly. It took about 1 hour, taking my time to make sure I did it right. 

I fixed it without incident. It was a smooth repair process. I was surprised though that with "same day shipping" it took nearly a week to be delivered. Perhaps this is due to the Christmas season. Thank you for being there.
