I followed the Appliance Parts Pros video, which is excellent except for 1 step that (in my case) was omitted.
After the new ice maker is installed, power restored and the ice maker button is pushed to the "On" position, also push the test button under the left side of the ice maker to engage ice making cycle. My new ice maker would not engage until I pushed the "Test" button.
Comment: The new ice maker tray hinge pin appears to be made stronger and the unit is making ice perfectly. If you have hard water in your house, clean the calcium deposit from the ice maker water inlet with vinegar before installing the new unit.
