How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5675953 / AEQ73110205 Icemaker (14 Cube)

After watching the repair video provided by AppliancePartsPros.com. I took the ice maker assembly out of the refrigerator to see that the plastic part was damaged. Once I ordered the assembly, it was pretty straightforward to replace and led to a successful repair. The video made it an easier repair. 

I replaced the old Ice Maker with a new one

Ordered a new ice maker and followed the video steps on AppliancePartsPros.com site. The new ice maker is now fully operational. Used 1 Phillips screwdriver. Shipping was quick and repair took 15 minutes. 

Replaced ice maker. 

First I looked at the video you have at your web side. I saw that it was easy to do. I went ahead and ordered a new ice maker through AppliancePartsPros.com. It only took a screwdriver and around six screws. 

The AppliancePartsPros website made it easy to find the right replacement icemaker. It arrived quickly. A Youtube video showed me the exact icemaker and how to take the old one out and put the new one in. It was done in about 15 minutes. 

I found part of the plastic ice tray that flexes to dump ice cracked and broken. I had to replace the complete ice maker. 

Went online. Viewed DIY video. Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed. 

Replaced it with a new one. Took less than 30 minutes to take the old one out and install the new one. Also replaced the Ice bucket since it had a crack in it (from me pounding on it). Won't be needing to do that anymore!
