How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5675953 / AEQ73110205 Icemaker (14 Cube)

Replaced the Icemaker. The video from AppliancePartsPros.com was very helpful! 

Watched a video. Ordered the part. Followed the video to install it. Had a small problem as it would not fit back in but then realized I had not put the parts together right. Ice Ice baby. 

Rcvd info about what part to order. Came in no time at a fairly reasonable price. Followed the video of how to replace the part and was able to do so in a few hours. This was accomplished by not-at-all-handy me!! So proud of the work I did!! We now have working ice in the house!! 

Ordered the replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed it myself. 

Watched a video, followed instructions...voila! A bit of time, readjustment of fitting on back of new ice maker and it was done. Works great! 

Replacing with a new Ice Maker. 

I ordered a new ice maker and a water control valve. The new parts came quickly and was what I needed to fix. Now everything is working like new. 

I ordered the ice maker and received it the next day from FedEx. I watched the repair video, and it was very simple to understand, and completed the repair. Our refrigerator is 12 years old, and we had to replace the ice maker just after the original warranty expired, to the tune of about $300 +, and this part with tax and shipping was $150, got it in 24 hrs, and took me 12 minutes to replace, using only a Phillips-head screwdriver. It now works better than the original part, or parts, and we even gained an extra two cubes! The older units were 12 cube units, and this one is a 14-cube unit. Very happy with AppliancePartsPros.com !! 

Ordered the LG replacement. Installed myself. Was very straight forward. 

Ordered and installed the replacement ice maker.
