How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5657415 / MHY62044106 Flapper Door Spring

Self install. 

A new spring was purchased from another parts company, which was incorrect. The correct replacement spring was recommended by a customer service rep from Appliance Parts Pros which saved me $74.00 from having to purchase a new mullion strip for my LG refrigerator.
