How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4445159 / 6322FR2046C Thermistor Assembly

I watched the video and and we started tearing the old girl apart. We labeled bags and put bolts and screw in proper bags. took some pictures as a reference when we put this back together when all new parts arrive in a few days, "getting old can't remember like I used to" Found out needed some seals as well as new bearings. We took everything apart and cleaned it, found some slim like substance all over the outer drum and in drain hoses. We found the drain hose with lots of slim and dirt in it and that had been causing trouble codes to come on about every time we used it. It took about 3 hours to tear apart and clean up unit. When parts arrived it took about 2 hours to assemble and get running. Unit runs and sounds like new again, no trouble codes any more. If you have some mechanical ability and watch the video you can do this and save big money. 

For the water not draining, we replaced the drain pump. For the TE error, we replaced the thermistor. Your website was easy to find the parts and step by step repair videos was a great reference. The parts were affordable and delivery was fast. It made our decision to fix it ourselves a no brainer instead of buying a new washer. For those having the same problems, although the video shows that you have to remove the top and front panels to access the drain pump and thermistor, we discovered that it was easier to lay the washer on the side and go through the bottom of the washer. It cut down your time by 90%. 

I replaced the Thermistor Assembly, using your online video. 

Watched the Appliance Parts Pros video on the fix and ordered the part. Took apart the washer, although mine was a little different from the video, in advance of the delivery. Went well. Part arrived perfectly. Did the install, not sure if it was going to work because you don't know until you button it all back up. Did it and viola! No error code. Ran a load and it went well. Wife was super happy. Grateful to APP for the video and having the part I needed in stock. 

Changed thermistor assembly and seal. Changed seal was optional no issues with current seal. 

The video provided in conjunction with the part was easy to do. It took about 50 minutes to complete. No more "Te" error, and the washer is functional again. 

Replaced the Thermistor with a new one and checked all wiring for a break or crack. unplugged and plugged in all connections to the front control panel. I was really nervous about removing and reinstalling the front door seal but after watching the video it was easy! Don't bother buying the special LG door seal tool, just use a vice grip as suggested in the video! Very easy project, thank you! 

I removed top of washer then front to gain access to thermistor. I then replaced thermistor and put washer back together. I plugged the unit in and I still had the error code showing. I then call your tech line and he ran me through some steps to get all error codes pulled. It still showed the same error. The tech stated he would send a new thermistor. I took apart the washer once again and was able to test the thermistor, which tested good. I reinstalled part and still nothing. I knew they had to be a reasonable explanation for this, so I started checking connections and trying to run a new error code reading. All of a sudden the washer started beeping and lighting up then code went away. The washer displayed no further errors. I put washer back together and all work great. The original fix was easy. The clearing of error code was a little challenging and time consuming. 

Looked up code online and found problem was in thermister circuit....most comments said usually a broken wire and that thermistor hardly ever fails...tested thermistor wiring and all was good so ordered a thermistor and replaced...working good since repair. 

Identified problem as the thermister. Ordered from AppliancePartsPros on a Friday morning and received part on Saturday! Amazing! Followed the online video and was running the washer in less than an hour! Definitely bookmark AppliancePartPros!
