Leah B Manalapan , NJ October 11, 2021 Our LG oven is not heating to correct temperature, basically stayed on warm. I ordered a part and replaced it myself! Oven now works awesome! I first googled info, watched some repair videos on YouTube to see what could be the issue. Hardest part was taking of my ovens back panel and putting it back on! Part was so simple two screws and a tiny plug. Was the heat sensor/ thermometer. Just found my ovens model # and was simple to locate correct part. Read More... Edward H Port Chester , NY June 08, 2020 Appliance: LG Gas Range LRG3081ST/00 Oven not heating properly. My LG oven wasn't heating properly. After checking the manual and doing some internet searches, I determined that the problem was either with the igniter or with the thermistor. I checked the igniter first using a multimeter. It measured the correct resistance. I checked the thermistor after having to take off the back panel--the hardest part of the fix--which took undoing a dozen screws. The thermistor was shot. I ordered a new thermistor from Appliance Parts Pros. It arrived in less than two days. Replacing the part took five minutes and a screwdriver. Easy stuff. The videos on appliancepartspros.com gave me the confidence to take on this easy fix. I surely saved $150 doing this myself. Read More...
