How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5800460 / DD82-01118A Dishwasher Control Sensor Assembly

Pretty easy need to make sure you turn the power off, shut the water valve under the sink and disconnect the hose, then pull up the dishwasher from the cabinet turn up side down, remove to screws and replace the sensor. it takes some time if you are really careful to not damage any part on your dishwasher special the door hinges that can be easily damaged if you shake it to much. 

I check your codes information in your very helpful webpage, and after reviewing the comments of several smart users of your service, I realize that it was the heating sensor problem. I followed the instructions and the very down to business diagrams (thank you for that too) showed me that the sensor was not difficult to replace. For all the "I can fix it" like me. I would like to advise them to make sure the electric breaker is OFF and the dishwasher is DRAIN because water and electricity do not mix as you know. and enjoy the satisfaction of solving a problem and saving some money in the process. thank you for reading sincerely: Israel. 

Disconnected unit and pulled it out. Flipped it on it's back and removed 2 screws holding bottom cover to expose the sensor. I reused the original o-ring. It dishwasher is almost new, but out of warranty (it was in storage for almost a year before it was installed. Part should have never failed. 

Flipped the dishwasher over and changed out the temp sensor. 

Replaced part by pulling out dishwasher. Seems to be working fine.
