I replaced the water filter housing with a new OEM unit that I ordered from AppliancePartsPro.com. I followed the video instructions provided at the referenced website. There were two differences in my refrigerator (from what the video showed) that made my job a bit more difficult. (1) The orange tubing for the ice maker was routed with the tubes for the filter housing assembly through the conduit. The orange tubing then bypassed the filter housing and passed with the tube for the water dispenser, down and out to the opening behind the kick plate. Because the orange tube was secured with small cable ties around the thermal/air insulation around the 3 other tubes, inside the conduit, it was necessary to pull that back out, cut the cable tie, and cut away the old insulation. The same had to be done where the orange tube and tube to water dispense passed into conduit on the floor of the refrigerator. I used small crosscut snips to cut the ties, and then scissors to cut away the old insulation. (2) The new assembly came with a clear molded cover over a step at the top front of the assembly that I didn't notice until I was finished. (The old unit didn't have that cover.) The clear cover blocked the full insertion of the bottom drawer, so I had to partially remove the filter housing in order to pry off that clear cover to allow the drawer to slide all the way in. This is not a complaint, just a "heads up" to others doing the job.
