Hello Judy, You will need to order DA81-05884A. I'm sorry but there are no instructions in print on replacing this item. The hardest part of this replacement is pulling the unit out to access the rear of the unit.

Frank, This issue would most likely be caused by the pins in the filter housing that is not allowing the water to flow through the filter. You would want to replace the water filter housing DA81-05884A.

Hello Jeffery, You will need to verify that the fill tube is not frozen. This is hard to tell by sight since the ice tends to be clear. Use a straw or similar item to "feel" inside the fill tube. If it is frozen, it can be thawed with a hair dryer in about 15 minutes. If not, I would replace the filter head DA81-05884A since it sounds like the internal valve inside this component sounds like an issue.

Hello Michael. It is all based on usage. If the filter is used a lot, you will need to replace it every 6 months. If not a lot, then yearly is fine.
