How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4579440 / DC97-12534E Washer Drain Hose Assembly

Replaced the drain hose. 

I bought a new drain hose and they sent me exactly the same as what came on my washing machine originally. Once I was able to tip the machine over on its side, it was a fairly easy job to undo one clamp slide off the old hose and then reverse the process to put on the new hose. As I said the key to do it in the shed was being able to tip the wash machine over on its side because access was completely from the bottom. 

Replaced drain hose. Video was helpful, however I went from the back and the bottom of the washer so I did not have to take off the front panel. 

I replaced it myself. 

Installed with the part. Website very helpful to find the right part! 

I followed the steps shown in the video of how to change out the hose. They were easy step by step instructions. 

Easy fix, one clamp 

By using the how to video from Appliance Parts Pros, the repair was incredibly easy to do. 

I called a local repair man who identified the drain hose as the problem and gave me the part number. I searched for the part online and found it at Appliance Parts Pros. I ordered the part and when it arrived, I called the repair man to do the replacement. 

Replaced hose, not quite how the video stated but used it.
