How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5577941 / DG94-00520A Range Oven Igniter

I diagnosed the issue, searched the Internet for the replacement part, and ordered it from AppliancePartsPros.com. It arrived quickly and was the correct part. Disassembly of the oven was simple, removing and replacing the part was also easy, just unplug the old and plug in the new. Took only twenty minutes from start to finish. The oven works like new again. 

My wife Googled it and was directed to a video showing how to repair it. I ordered the part through you. When the part came in, she replaced it and got it working again. She took care of it all and didn't need help from me.

I hired a repair person last Christmas to fix it and just a few months later the part was failing. Having bought OEM Samsung parts from you for my refrigerator, I thought I'd buy a new ignitor from you and do the job myself as it's fairly straight forward and I had the time. Much to my dismay, when I removed the failing ignitor, I realized the repair person had used a knock off part. This is why it failed. Replacing the ignitor fixed the problem. The broiler igniter worked OK so I figured it was just the igniter itself Thanks to AppliancePartsPros for not only having the part in stock but also shipping it the same day even though I ordered it very late in the day. It was easy to get to although one of the screws that held the manifold in place had to be drilled out. Taking the bottom drawer out provided good access to the plug and socket as I didn't want to just cut and splice the wires together.
