How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4335223 / DA97-02203H Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly

Ordered a new Ice Maker assembly, unplugged the whole refrigerator and removed the Ice maker assembly, 2 screws and an electrical connector later, the new unit is installed. Replugged in the refrigerator and pressed the ice maker reset button and the unit cycled and filled up. Works great. 

Ordered a new one and installed 

The parts worked fine, fast shipping. 

I found the part on the website easily, the picture was great because I could match it up with my existing ice maker. Got it the next day and installed it in less than 10 minutes. It was awesome. It worked right off the bat, and was delivered so quickly. I need my ice for my frozen drinks and I am back drinking my cool drinks! 

Order complete unit per model numbe and arrived sooner than expected. Installed 2 days later; well tried to install. Found replacement unit did not fit correctly. Back mounting bracket issue, one shorter than other, on mine both same height so removed and swapped motor units and tray, Making ice again; MOMMA HAPPY so all good again!!! 

I found and ordered the part and then within 5 minutes had it in and within a few hours we had ice again.
