How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP6001015 / DA97-15765C Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor Assembly

Unplugged refrigerator. Removed all shelves from the upper refrigerator cabinet. Using a flat blade screwdriver eased the back panel away from the cabinet. This gave me easy access to the circulating fan. Removed old fan with 2 screws, unplugged fan lead harness plug. Removed defective fan assembly. Installed replacement fan, reconnected lead harness plug, installed screws & tightened securely. Reinstalled back panel that snaps into place via cam bracket. Re-stalled all shelves. Plugged in the refrigerator. Everything worked properly & the circulating fan ran smoothly. 

I simply removed the old one and put in the new one... If you know your way around a screw driver you shouldn't have any problems 

Replaced the condenser fan. The unit now cools the fridge and freezer. 

Called immediately and placed an order for a new parts assembly and it arrived the next day. Excellent service and speedy delivery. 

Replaced the Condenser Fan Motor Asy. 

Was an easy fix. Just removed the old one and installed the new one.

Refrigerator stopped cooling on a Thursday. Got the 23E code displayed on Refrigerator. Searched the internet as to what was wrong, Found out that it was the condenser fan. I tried to find part locally. I called my regions distributor who has multiple locations. They did not have part in stock at any location. Was told I can order it through them but it would take about 2 months for delivery. Who can wait that long? Looked around online and found part on several sites including Amazon, but AppliancePartsPros.com was the only one who would deliver the fastest. Order part Friday afternoon and it was delivered Monday afternoon. Took less than 5 minutes to remove old and install new, Refrigerator working great again. 

Replace the condenser fan motor assembly. 

Replaced the fan. It's cooling now. Working again!
