How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4202690 / DC31-00054A Washer Drain Pump

Replaced drain pump 

I replaced the drain pump motor. I called 2 repair services that would work on Samsung washers. Neither returned my call. I had the part shipped overnight and fixed it in less than an hour. The video was easy to follow. The washer is working fine and I still have not heard from the repair services. 

Watched the video on AppliancePartsPros.com. The install looked easy so I ordered a new drain pump. The video showed just removing the washer back panel. In reality, we had to disassemble the top and front panels. Went to YouTube for disassembly instructions. After a little cussing, got the washer apart and put the pump in and the washer is back on track. 

Your drain pump replacement was amazing! Showed up the next day and installed in 45 minutes. Was a lifesaver in a house that seems to run laundry every day. Very impressed with Appliance parts pro and will always order my appliance parts from here. 5 star service. 

No ‘ND’code displayed but did say check filter. After awhile I ordered the new drain pump. I took apart my washer, cleaned pipes and drains (watched YouTube). Once the new pump arrived, I replaced that and put it all together. It was actually all pretty easy and now the washer drains and does not make any grinding noises! 

Purchased the drain pump motor for my model. I watched some step by step videos and had the washer back up and running without any real problems. The hardest parts were wrestling the washer out of and back into my tiny laundry room (so I had room to work) and getting the clamp around the door gasket back on. Saved a whole bunch of money and didn't have to wait for a repairman or take time off work. I ordered the part late Sunday night and took the washer apart Monday evening after work. The motor arrived Tuesday afternoon. I changed out the motor and had the washer running again in about an hour (20 minutes of that was spent struggling with the clamp around the door gasket). 

I followed the video, and it was a easy as the repair video, I didn't have an issue replacing it. Now it's working good again. 

New pump and clean all the drain lines. 

Got a quote of $360 from a local appliance repair shop and decide to fix it myself. Found the pump on your website for $70. Watched the video and in an hour had my Samsung washer repaired.
