How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP6034185 / DA97-14474C Refrigerator Ice Bucket Assembly

Ordered a new replacement. 

The ice bucket was cracked causing the ice to build up inside the whole compartment. After thawing the compartment, replaced the auger tray. So far everything is working?? The defrosting was the longest part of the repair. Changing the tray was easy. 

Replaced ice bucket assembly and problem solved. 

Ordered a new ice bucket. There was confusion about which to buy and the fact I had to replace a magnetic latch. Online chat helped me through the process. The bucket and latch repaired and all is good. Online chat is really helpful and polite. 

Researched for exact part. Called the Pros. Helped me get the part I needed. 

Ordered part from appliance parts pros that perfectly fit. 

Sealed the ice maker compartment with RTV and replaced the bucket and new type of latch. 

Just trade them out. Ordered a new one. Took the old one out, and just slide the new one in all went well. thank you david b 

Ordered new ice dispenser bucket and replaced it. 

Easy fix, just ordered replacement part and replaced.
