How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP6034185 / DA97-14474C Refrigerator Ice Bucket Assembly

Ordered a new ice bucket assembly. 

Ordered a replacement bucket. 

Looked up on web site, called for order, received a replacement, and replaced the bucket-everything normal. 

Purchased a new icemaker unit and put it in. So far no leaking water as the other unit was cracked and the seal is better and I think keeping air out of the unit. Making more ice. Time will tell if the unit freezes up inside like it was. It would stop making ice. 

Samsung 4-door ice maker began to leak after 1 year. We had a warranty contract which resulted in 5 repair attempts over a 6 month period. They ultimately replaced every part of the ice maker (accept the bucket). They even replaced the door. The first technician began by sealing a single seam at the wall. It went on from there with more and more water collecting in the chute and leaking around the chute gasket. Ultimately, Home Depot gave us a full refund, including the warranty cost. I continued with my own attempts, sealing EVERY seam around the unit and sealing the chute gasket. No luck. Then I read on this site where someone had replaced the bucket and it solved their issues. I ordered a new bucket, and bingo! A week in and the problem seems to be solved, fingers crossed. 

I went to your website and ordered a new one based on your picture, part number and pictire. 

Ordered a replacement for my cracked ice bucket. No idea how the crack came to be, but it ran the full length of the bottom of the bucket. Was having issues with the ice being "soft" at the time also, not sure if that was related. Ordered and replaced the bucket and at first was not happy with the replacement. Still having issues with "soft" ice, but after a couple of days, issue seems to have been resolved, possibly because of the new bucket seal? Bucket is functioning as expected and all is well.

I found the replacement part (tray) on your site and verified the model number to be sure I was ordering the correct tray. It was delivered very quickly. The tray slid in place with no problem and is working great.
