How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4337066 / DG44-01002A Top Burner Control For Range, Infinite Switch

After I received the replacement parts (4 regulators/stovetop) I unplugged the range and removed the top back panel. Next was the removal of the control knobs on the range front and the removal of the mounting screws, then from the back disconnecting the regulators was easy. I replaced each connector in sequence with the replacement part, repeated this with all the control units then replaced the mounting screws and knobs and replaced the back panel. Total time for the repair was less than 30 minutes, that is because I replaced all 4 of the burners regulators together. 

Replaced Energy Regulator. 

I replaced the burner switches on the backsplash. This only required removing the knobs, the cover on the back of the backsplash, and the switches themselves, then transferring each wire one at a time. Then reinstalling the parts in reverse order. 

Help technician assisted with the problem. It was the dial control. Ordered got it the next day and my husband replaced it. Got a R MA to return the heating element. Thank you 

Received part in one day after placing order. Replaced one burner switch. 

I unplugged the stove , removed the upper back panel with the five screws and removed the knob off the front panel. Removed the two screws under the knob to release the old regulator from the front panel, replaced and reinstalled the wires one at a time from the old one to the new one, one at at time so I would not get them crossed up !! Reinstalled panel and plugged the stove back up , works like new , simple and easy !! 

I replaced the energy regulator by unplugging the stove, 5 screws on the back panel, unplugged the wires from the old switch to the new switch, removed 2 screws that held it in, and replaced and put back together. 

Replaced the Regulator Energy 

Replaced power regulator. Replacement part arrived in less than two days. Removed back cover and moved the wires from original to new regulator. Thanks to Brian B's comment noticed the regulator was upside down even though labeling and wires matched original (check for stronger indent for top of regulator). Turned regulator over and all is working fine! 

Changed the controller (AP4337066 (DG44-01002A), which is for the larger, front burners). Slide out the range, remove 5 screws to gain access to the top back, note the orientation of the controller and then swap the wires over one at a time. Pull the knob off of the front, remove two screws holding the controller in place and then insert the new controller and re-assemble. Spent far more time cleaning behind, under, and around the sides of the range.
