How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4143645 / DA63-01453B Refrigerator Ice Cube Tray

Ordered the replacement part, received and installed very easily. No problems what so ever. 

Replaced it. 

I replaced the tray with a new one from appliance pros and it fix the problem thank you for part 

I expected to wait some time to be able to get the parts, but the parts from appliance parts pros arrived less than 18 hours after ordered online. It took five minutes to snap the drive off the old frame. I replaced the ice tray since it was showing signs of age, and mounted the drive to the new frame. The new frame had a different way to mount the drive. Old drive mount was on rubber mounts. New frame was direct, without the rubber mounts. I slid the rubber mounts off the old drive, and it snapped right into the new frame. 

Watched video for replacement of the ice maker tray. I ordered the part. I installed the tray per the video. I turned the ice maker on. Ice cubes form and drop into the ice cube bin just as I had hoped. The fix was inexpensive and the part arrived in two days. Thank you for the prompt help. 

It took me about 15 minutes to pull the inner rear coil cover off and replace the fan. Easy to do and very inexpensive. I'll tackle replacing the Ice Cube Tray and I think it will take a little more than 15 minutes to perform :) 

Wasn't too difficult. You only need a flathead & a phillips head screwdriver. Had to remove the ice tray sensor from the old tray & then replace the tray. Worst part was the ice maker support. The rear 2 screws are a bit tricky to line up when installing the new part but it's easier if you install the front 2 screws first. One thing to note....this replacement ice maker support is slightly taller (appx 1/8th inch) than the original manufacturers part, so when you re-insert the ice bin be aware that it's a much more 'snug' fit than with the old part installed. It still fits & everything works fine but you have to be careful inserting the ice bin or you could break the lever that sits in the bin. (that lever tells the solenoid to either make more ice if the bin is empty or it shuts off if the bin is full so it's a very critical part...don't break it by trying to force the ice bin back into the unit.) 

Replaced parts 

Replaced ice cube tray in Samsung fridge and is working great. Repair was simple, removed 2 screws, disconnect electrical connect to remove ice maker assembly. Remove wire assembly and sensor from tray bottom. Pop out old tray and install new tray. Reassemble and replace ice maker. About 10 minutes from start to finish. Videos by AppliancePartsPro were extremely helpful. 

Put in new tray, it seems that after 6 years the coating wears off and you need a new tray
