Johannes V Harker Heights , TX April 04, 2014 Appliance: Model RS261LASH/AA Water dispenser did not shut off, ice dispenser did not work I ordered the Inlet solenoid valve. Unscrewed the back panel and unscrewed the 3 waterlines. screwed the 3 waterlines onto the new valve, reinstalled the back panel and was done within 15 minutes. This was my first fridge repair. Kent Y Milpitas , CA June 27, 2021 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS2556SH/XAA-00 The ice tray was in the twisted offload mode and water was not getting in. I changed out the water valve in the back of the fridge. I suspected it was that when resetting the ice maker as well as unplugging/replugging the fridge didn’t work. I followed the video as described, except the hiccup I ran into was a small hole developed into the very bottom of the blue water line when I disconnected it from the valve. Fortunately, the blue line was just long enough for me to cut it above the leak and reconnect it to the valve. Everything else went as described in the great video!
