How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5178218 / DD62-00084A Dishwasher Water Valve

I initially replaced the inlet valve sensor which worked for a week. Then the dreaded oe error came back and the dw would not start after the initial fill up and would drain again. I realized this dw is just full of sensors and read inputs and sends outputs. After speaking we the appliances pro, I got the main relay board. Fairly easy to install as ive worked with mother boards and even fixed my own tablet. Seemed to have worked, but we dud get an oe code once this week at the end of a cycle... wasn't there but it was on normal cycle and dishes seemed clean. Wacky dw, bit has nice features. However I think this dw will give more problems...cross my fingers it wont. 

Replaces the water valve. All is well. It was a little tricky to get the old one out. Also, don't forget to use nylon plumber's tape for the new valve. 

Replaced the water supply main valve. 

Replaced the water inlet valve. 

Unable to visually confirm the leaking component, but leakage was below the area of the Water Valve. Chose to replace the water valve, hose, and clamps. The dishwasher was a retrofit in an older house, so removal and reinstall were very laborious. Water Valve and hose replacement were 15 mins. Replaced the valve 

Took off access panel, found leaking part. Looked it up with appliance pro and ordered the part, a new valve. Valve arrived in 2 days. I put the new valve on and we're back in business! Fast shipping, reasonable prices and the shipping charges were not more than they should be. excellent experience, will do business again! 

Replaced the water valve 

Ordered a new inlet valve and replaced it, no more leaking.
