How to Troubleshoot & Replace Wci AP6987284 / 316538904 Light Bulb (40W)

I simply changed to broken part. It was easy. 

Followed the video instruction to diagnose problem. ordered replacement element and it arrived the next day to my surprise. replaced the element and oven repaired. that's it. turn off breaker, remove two screws, unplug old element, plug in the new one, reinstall two screws, turn on breaker and test oven, done. 

Special order size 22 1/2 by 14 1/2 oven racks. Ordered on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday!! Fantastic!! 

Unplugged the oven and replaced the element with a new one. 

My Frigidaire stove/oven takes a high heat tolerant bulb. It is convection/electric and has a quick cook feature. My oven is not even two years old but this is the 3rd Frigidaire bulb (??). Yours was the least expensive and I bought 2. The shipping was within 2 days which I like as I use my light w/most everything I cook. Thanks!

Replaced clogged bird-mouth gasket with p-trap tube drain. How-to video very clear and gave me confidence to persist against stubborn hold-down clip at foot of drain that needed to come out. Bird-mouth gasket was clogged with dust and hairball. While I had the back off, vacuumed tons of dust out of the compartment (I should do that more often). Most time was spent reshimming the fridge at the end of the job when I put it back up against the wall and had to balance the door swings. 

Replaced control board. 

Replaced it 

"Cold Control" thermostat in refrigerator stuck in open position, no resistance when checked with ohm meter while turning knob to both extremes. Replaced control and also Condenser Fan Motor Kit that worked but was noisy after cleaning heavy dust cobwebs off of coils under refrigerator.
