The dryer was making a very loud clunking like a bearing supporting the drum had come apart.
When I opened the dryer up I saw that the drum is supported by two rollers at the rear.
One roller was obviously bad and had a ton of free-play in it.
Went on-line and ordered that parts. Replaced the bad roller and axle. Make sure that you replace the axle since you are already in there.
The job is not technically hard, it's just a pain since the rollers are in the back and these things were not built with service in mind.
