How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3119063 / 80040 Washer Agitator Dogs

I've replaced both parts before, just a matter of removing the upper part of the agitator and replcing the worn dogs with new ones and putting it all back, and the switch is just inside the back panel that the water hoses are attached to a few screws and a clamp and it was done. 

I oredered a new cam kit for my maytag washing machine and new dawgs. On my whirlpool dryer I ordered new belt and tensioner also new felt for the drum. 

Realized that the dogs had busted up and was able to take a socket wrench and replace them. That was only one of the problems as the coupler had gone and agitator was not moving at all. After replacing the coupler, the washer works better than it has in a long time. 

Replaced dogs. Piece of cake. 

I would like to say first is that the shopping experience on Appliance Parts Pros website was very easy, the parts came fairly quick. I have to say that I would not have been able to replace the parts if not for the install videos. They made the experience much easier, 

Replaced spring clutch, dogs on agitator, and motor coupling. first time and the videos were helpful. most solutions say to replace the clutch but i went ahead and got all 3 parts. it's running like new and it was less than $50. you need an extension rod for the 7/16 socket and the c clip was the hardest part to get installed for me 

I ordered new dog lets. The amazing aspect of this order is that I placed the order on Sunday and had the dog-legs in the mail by Wednesday using regular shipping. I was really happy with that and my marriage is now healed. 

Recieved the new parts and was easy fix. Only i should have ordered the complete repair part. But problem solved , thanks to parts pro.
