How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019708 / WPW10330804 Speed Governor

Speed control and governor. 

It was very simple after watching appliance parts pros. com on u tube. they were very helpful in showing the right way to get the parts put in the right and easy way 

Followed your excellent videos to replace controller & governor. 

I replaced the speed governor, speed control plate and phase control board as suggested by the videos which were a great help. 

Watched the AppliancePartPros video on YouTube, talked to a technician on the telephone and ordered the parts. The repair video was absolutely the most helpful. 

Replaced speed governor 

Replaced speed control parts. 

I replaced the speed control plate and the governor. This allowed the mixer to run but the speeds could not be adjusted properly. I then purchased phase control board and was able to get the speeds adjusted. I am not totally satisfied with the speed adjustments but it will be good enough. The videos were absolutely invaluable and truly made the repair possible. 

I replaced the governor. Adjusted control plate to achieve proper speed appears to work OK. 

I ordered all the parts related to the speed control to avoid not having the correct part. Ordering all these parts was still cheaper than a new mixer. Repair went fine was really easy to do. Back up and running just fine. Wife is happy which makes me happy.
