How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023717 / WPW10672617 Coated Flat Head Beater

Purchased new replacement beater. I was concerned about possible health issues that could result if food was able to get under the coating through the breaks in the coating on the old beater. I chose to replace the beater rather than run the risk of contaminating food using the old beater which had breaks in its coating. 

Bought the Flat Head Beater. 

Ordered and got the Flat Head Beater and it is perfect. 

Ordered the Flat Head Beater off the website and all done simply and quickly. 

I looked up the model number for my mixer and found the correct flat paddle to order. I ordered. It arrived doubled packed in perfect condition. It was the correct piece and after washing it I used it with perfect results. 

Put the new one on where it is suppose to go.
