How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6020669 / WPW10381562 Bellow

Ordered a new bellow for my model of washer. Took off the top of the washer, then the bottom front panel. Next took the wire/spring clamp off the front edge of the bellow. Took the front control panel off held in place be 2 screws. Then took the door and front frame off as 1 unit was held in place by 4 screws at the corners. Used a screw driver to loosen the other clamp and removed the old bellow. Installed reverse of removal. The outside spring clamp was tough to get back on. My son and I took about 45 min just to get the clamp on. 

I ordered the bellow from this site. It was easy to put on following the step-by-step video. I had to go to Youtube to help with outer spring. Worked on that part for over two hours then found on Youtube an easy way to put on

Ordered the part, watched a video to fix it. 4 or 5 times and now the washing machine doesn't leak anymore. 

My annoying drip turned into a full leak after a few days and I decided to tackle the repair myself. I found plenty of sellers offering this part but APP had next day delivery based on my location and I've used them previously for other appliance parts. The new part arrived as stated and I followed the instructions/video provided and a few others on YT. I removed the damaged part the day before and found it very straight forward and simple to perform. Installation was also simple and straightforward and the only difficult part was reinstallation of the outer ring clamp with spring. A 1/4" nut driver, torx driver and pliers is all you need. 

Last week we discovered a leak coming from our washer. We had no idea where it was coming from or what was causing it. We found your site on a Google search, typed in our model number and used your troubleshooting guide to discover it was the bellows seal. We got our part in one day and used your youtube video to fix the problem with any extra costly service repairs or having to wait. I can't express how pleasant of an experience it was. Thank you so much! 

With a lot of ingenuity and patience. It was way harder than the videos showed. My washing machine is under a heavy dryer so it was impossible for me to remove the top and the front door making the job 100 times harder. But I got it done :-).
