Jason J Ely , NV January 12, 2017 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MED6000XG0 Loud noise/vibration from dryer Dryer started making a mild whining noise lasted a week or two then started to rattle/vibrate. I assumed it was a stuck drum roller. Ordered the repair kit that stated the belt may not fit was still a good value over ordering rollers alone ordered the proper belt also. I was still using the dryer so only guessed what parts I would need didn't not have space to tear it open and leave it untell parts came. Opened it up today was the tensioner pulley had locked and wore a flat the rollers looked ok but I went ahead and replaced them seeing I had them lots to dissemble job took 2.5 to 3 hrs but I spent a lot of time cleaning.Dryer sounds like new! happy customer!
