How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009126 / WP40111201 Dryer Drive Belt

Well I replaced the dryer belt tension pulley assembly. Also the drum support rollers and the dryer belt. everything was made easier with the repair video. 

My Maytag dryer was making a strange noise. I knew it was going to cost more than I could afford I called around for repair estimates it was about $150.00. So I looked online found your website. I put my dryers model no. in and diagrams and parts list came up. I watched your very detailed how to videos I then orded the parts. The parts got to me two days early. The parts I ordered were belt,two rear rollers. and two front glides which cost me $40.00 including shipping. It took about an hour to do my dryer works like new.Thanks to your very helpfull videos ya'll saved me over $100.00 Thanks again Mickey from Brandon, Ms. 

Changed the belt tensioner. While I had it apart changed drum wheels and belt also. 

Replaced all the parts I ordered Thanks for the videos very helpful 

Replaced the belt and lubed the idler pully 

Replaced the belt, after watching the short video I saw that I need to check the front drum supports and found one broken. ordered all the parts easy peasy repair. 

Install worn idyll pulley, belt and rollers

We found a video of our dryer & how to take it apart & test the heating element. Then we found the dryer model number & ordered a heating element kit from here. We were so pleased to see that it matched exactly!! We cleaned out all the lint from the dryer while we had it open. We had to call the Appliance Pro Technical Support to verify the wiring pattern because the directions for the new part were slightly different & they were extremely helpful!! Our 20 year old dryer is purring along again!
