Tom D H Thorntown , IN November 20, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool 27" Built-In Electric Double Oven Convection - Upper Oven Self-Clean (Gold Line GBD277PDB09 The bottom oven baking and broil elements would not heat up I checked for continuity on the control board to make sure I didn't have a bad thermal fuse or bad heating elements. Everything checked out - I had continuity everywhere. I ordered a new control board hoping that it would fix the problem and it did. It was easy to replace. There were about 10 connections to it and it was just a matter of unplugging them and plugging in the new board. I can now return the old board for a core refund. Read More...
