Jeff D Morgantown , WV February 06, 2017 Washer quit working and threw a f01 error code I looked up on line to find the cause of the F01 Error light. Could be many things but my daughter overloaded the dryer with wet clothes and tried to run 3 loads at once. I guess this blew something in the ECU computer control board. I ordered the correct part for my model dryer. It arrived in 2 days and I swapped it out. Very simple procedure under 10 minutes. Hit the start button and everything worked fine once again. Mariano M Baltimore , MD February 03, 2017 F 01 error code on dryer dryer would allow you to select a cycle but then after you hit start it would make a click sound and then display the error code instead of starting to spin Looked up the F 01 error code, learned it meant there was a "Control Board" error. Bought the new control board from Appliance parts Pros and watched the video on how to access the board and replace it with the new one. Was a very easy swap out to replace the board. I was curious about what happened to the old board, so I opened the plastic housing and could see that there was clearly a burn mark on one of the relay terminals. The new board appears to use a slightly different brand of relay on the board, so maybe the replacement is better? Either way, super easy repair and happy I went with appliance parts pros. Elisha C Los Angeles , CA August 26, 2016 F 01 error code A quick search told me that this error is a control panel malfunction. The repair was explained on a YouTube video. The whole repair was simple and took about 15 minutes with pauses to watch the video for guidance. An expensive part for sure, but less than a new dryer and a lot less hassle. Very satisfied. Philip R Carmicahel , CA June 26, 2016 My electronic control board in my dryer stopped working At first, we called a repair man to diagnose the problem, and received an outrageous repair estimate. He also recommended to just replace the dryer, as it probably would have been about the same price as his estimate. We did our research and found the part at Appliance Parts Pros, at that point we decided to purchase the control board and fix it ourselves. We watched a video on You Tube, and followed the basic, very easy directions, and in less that 5 minutes it was repaired. Saving ourselves over $250.00 Thanks Appliance Parts Pros!!! Read More...
