Mariano M Baltimore , MD February 03, 2017 F 01 error code on dryer dryer would allow you to select a cycle but then after you hit start it would make a click sound and then display the error code instead of starting to spin Looked up the F 01 error code, learned it meant there was a "Control Board" error. Bought the new control board from Appliance parts Pros and watched the video on how to access the board and replace it with the new one. Was a very easy swap out to replace the board. I was curious about what happened to the old board, so I opened the plastic housing and could see that there was clearly a burn mark on one of the relay terminals. The new board appears to use a slightly different brand of relay on the board, so maybe the replacement is better? Either way, super easy repair and happy I went with appliance parts pros.
