How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010142 / WP628356 Ice Maker Fill Cup And Bearing Assembly

Following your video instructions, I was able to disassemble the ice maker, install the new parts and re-assemble it in about 15 minutes. The repaired ice maker was then installed in the refrigerator, and worked perfectly! 

I replaced the broken water cup on my refrigerator ice maker. I watched a video on replacing the water cup, ordered the water cup and when it came followed the easy to follow video instructions. My refrigerator is once again making ice cubes! 

Water valve was replaced with new one. Also the Ice maker fill cup was replaced. Easy fix thanks to the appliance parts pro instructional videos. 

Replaced the ice mold and the fill cup. 

Replaced with new fill cup purchased from applianceparts.com. 

First watched video on how to repair it from ApplianceParts Pros.com, disassembled icemaker like in video and swapped out part I ordered. A bit time consuming but the icemaker runs just fine now, no issues at all. I will note that the fill cup replacement appears to be of a smaller size, about 20% smaller than what I replaced, however, it performs just fine.
