How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009043 / WP3977767 Hi-Limit Thermostat

I change all the part being the thermostat fuse and the thermal cut-off,and the fuse thermal ,plus the dryer heating element.and it’s working find..thanks for the video on how to do it.. 

After watching your videos to determine what the problem was, I was able to order the part and fix on my own. Thanks for providing resources for even the amateur diy person. 

Replaced heating element and thermostat. 

My brother went on line and researched through your company the possible problems. He showed me the videos of what possibly could have caused my dryer to stop suddenly putting out heat. We discussed all scenarios and I ordered the parts from your company. The parts arrived in less then 3 days. When I came home from work, my brother had installed the parts and was drying his work clothes! The total down time was less then 6 days and about 10% of the costs of replacing my 6 year old dryer. It is now rebuilt and ready to go for 5 more! Thank you for using our technologies that showed us the possibilities without the huge costs1 

Replaced the heating element 

Tested the thermistor and thermostat and they checked out ok. Took out the heating element, and one of the coils had cracked. I ordered and installed all 3 parts because they were all old and I didn't want to take the dryer apart in another month. Works fine now. 

New heating coil 

Replaced heating element,and hi limit thermostat. Believe hi limit thermostat was still working but it had been really hot being on the side of the heating element. 

Replaced the heating element and high limit thermostat.
