How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6017357 / WPW10224428 Dispenser Assembly

These were two easy repairs. The videos on the site helped in a big way. Replacing the dispenser took longer because I had to take off the front panel and putting it back on was difficult to line up, but with a little help I finally got it all back together. The dishwasher is working great now. 

Ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. I looked at a video on how to change it and it works great again.Thanks for the quick shipping, I got the part the next day.

Replaced the dispenser. The video on AppliancePartsPros.com showed how easy it was and the little 'tricks' to make the job go well. The only hiccup was that the sheet metal screws holding it in were a mix of different kinds (obviously worked on before) but a quick trip to the hardware store and six stainless sheet metal screws later, we were back in business. Replaced the soap dispenser on my dishwasher.
