How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6017357 / WPW10224428 Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser Assembly

Ordered a new assembly, replaced it, and now it works perfectly. 

Got a video youtube.. It was very simple.. Even for a guy like me. (I break everything I touch). I couldn't of done it with out the help of Steven at AppliancePartsPros.com. I ordered the wrong part, talked to Steven online, he helped me find the correct part, and immediately sent it to me. I ordered late on a Friday, and got the part on Saturday... They are amazing!!!! Thanks!!! 

Watched the supplied video on the website and followed the directions. Exactly as shown and was an easy fix. 

I replaced it with a new one from Appliance Parts Pros. I ordered the part on Sunday and received it Tuesday. The video on the APP site explained the replacement job clearly, and the job went well.

Followed the appliance parts pros online instructional video. It was a breeze! Thank you for posting the video.....I'll look to the appliance parts pros again next time something needs to be fixed. 

Removed old one and relaced with new one very easy 

Ordered the replacement part online with no problem. The video was informative and gave exact instructions that were accurate. Repair was done in 30 min. 

I had to order a complete new dispenser from Appliance Parts Pros. The dispenser is very poorly designed so that the tab that holds the door shut in the first wash wears off and of course you have to buy a complete assembly. The repair video was excellent and after watching it I was able to quickly and easily replace the dispenser. You will need torx head drivers to remove the screws from the inner door and a very small nut driver, I think it was 1/8".
