Louis P Hatboro , PA September 07, 2016 Started finding small brownish streaks on my light colored clothes googled the problem and found out that changing the drum felt seal might work Using a couple helpful videos, I was able to do the job myself. It will be a while before I can say for certain whether this fixed the problem, but I do notice that the drum isn't squeaking like it used to. That's got to be a good thing! The video Appliance Parts Pros sent me was very helpful with applying the seal to the drum, but I found another of their videos that more closely matched my particular dryer. Google to the rescue. Found your store, ordered touch up paint, new felt gasket, and a couple of other parts. Kathleen S Cleveland , OH July 30, 2025 Appliance: Model MEDX600XWO The felt seal in the front came loose and would tangle in laundry I took the top and front panel off of the dryer exposing the drum, then followed the video instruction (which was very helpful) to the best of my ability to install the new seal. Jeffrey H Winnebago , IL May 16, 2025 Idler rubber tore(had a flat) which tore off felt seal Tore machine apart to see what was wrong. Ordered parts which I received in 24 hours GREAT. Watched the video on your page about gluing felt on(very helpful) Gave it a good cleaning before putting back together. I left top off for first run to make sure everything worked right ,belt tracked ok then finished. Word to wise use a magnetic dish to hold screws as a plastic doesn't hold screws when you knock it over. Now off to hardware store to buy a couple new screws that crawled under washer , opps Overall pretty straight forward project especially if mechanical inclined. Read More...
