Removed the old element and replaced it with the new.
The leads, on one side in particular, were quite short, and quite difficult to unplug from the old element and plug into the new one. Reaching into the back of the oven was one challenge, and the plugs were very tight. Because the leads were short I removed the back cover, per the video, and removed the zip tie around the wire bundle to create some slack. (I added a new one when the job was done).
If I had it to do it again I would have installed the element without the wires, and plugged it in from the back, where the plugs were easily accessible.
I used pliers to crimp the plug at the end of the wire a little, as it had loosened when removing the old, resulting in a looser fit than I liked when plugging in the new.
Anyone who can use basic tools could do the repair, but I suggest mentioning the alternative of plugging in from the back.
The new element arrived in very good time and in good condition.
