How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010189 / WP660532 Cooktop 6 Inch Surface Element

We always bought generic pans and elements from local big box store. They never fit correctly. these fit just like when the stove was new, looks better and the pots and pans sit level on the stove. very pleased and Momma is happy.. 

Ordered new burners. Received within a week. Fit great! Worked great! 

I ordered new parts, which were exactly what I needed, and were made in the USA. It only took about 30 minutes to make this repair, using one Phillips screw driver and a wire stripper. It was easy to install, what had been so hard was finding this part, it's an old stove, and it came the next day, amazing !!!!! 

Bought the range for my brother cheap, ordered the burners and drip trays, they arrived in a few days. I I put the drip trays in first then making suer the prongs on each burner was straight I plugged them in then tested each one letting them burn off the protective oil from manufacturing. before doing any work make sure the power is off at the breaker and check the range to make sure it is not live. very simple job to do Thank you appliance parts pros prices always low and quick deliveries 

I removed the burned element and replaced it with a new one. 

It was fairly easy. I just cut the wires to the old receptacles and tied them to the new ones. 

Pulled out element. Inspected receptacle plug, no signs of arcing or damage. Slipped new element into place and tested, worked just fine. Stove is old Magic Chef 240 VAC supply. 

Replaced it. Nothing to it. Easy And with the right Stove make and model really easy to order!
