How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010189 / WP660532 Cooktop 6 Inch Surface Element

Replaced Elements and Drip pans. 

Purchased the correct electric brners and Drip Pan for my Whirlpool cooktop. Contacted Appliancepartspros.com. Who Where Helpful in Verifying the Correct Parts. 

I went to the computer and asked google to research parts for a Magic Chef stove top range, your company came up. I was able to find the blueprint for the range top by the model number which your drop down box told me how to find. With the correct part number supplied by the drawing I was able to order the 6" element and I received it the next day. It fits perfectly and I could not be happier with the ease with which I found what I needed and the speed of delivery. All around this was a gold star experience. 

Did it my self 

Called my local appliance parts stores, their prices for parts I needed was 10-20% higher, plus an additional 3-5 days more to have the glass shipped from somewhere else. I ordered and 24 hours later I had my parts. About an hour later I had all parts installed!! 

Per the instructions. I receive my parts in 3 days, awesome.the burner recepticle was the hardest to do. 

Ordered new burner. It was the exact one I needed. 

Ordered replacements. Installed on arrival.

The heating elements and drip pans were simple pull-out and slide-in replacements and the connector was a simple one screw and 2 electrical spade terminal pull-off connections. Instructions with the parts were very simple and easy to follow. Also, the delivery was very fast, just a couple of days.
