Alan B Petaluma , CA November 12, 2022 The dishes were not getting clean. Cleaned the water inlet at he pump on the bottom. The recommended fix with a new water tube to the top was not needed. The recommendation should always include checking the water supply at the bottom before replacing parts. Debris from washing often plugs the water inlet and it may need cleaning. Easy enough to do and doesn’t cost anything. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Robert M Herndon , VA March 01, 2021 Top rack not cleaning dishes greasy look and feel We took the machine apart down to the sump. Very easy with video. We have done this more than once. The chopper was clogged with a plastic like material. Very difficult to clean this time. It almost stopped water flow to pump. We suspect the plastic wrapping around dish washer tablets doesn’t completely dissolve. Brushing cleared the screen. We ordered a new one but had to reassemble to test machine. Cleans perfectly on top rack. We also ordered a new water supply tube on back order. The rubber flapper valves on the original tube were not closing causing water pressure drop. We hope to get a few more years out of this machine. New ones are very expensive. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

William S North Reading , MA August 30, 2019 Dishwasher not cleaning properly Took it all apart, cleaned the various pieces, replaced the Pro Scrub plate and the upper water arm. The diagnostics were the hard part (the ProScrub plate was rotted out, but the somewhat hidden flapper valve assembly in the upper water arm was harder to see) The replacement was easy, I think it took longer to take the racks out than it did to replace the parts. Brian I Portland , OR September 01, 2018 Dishes were coming out with residue and grease on them and they were not dry The helpful videos on AppliancePartsPros.com helped me diagnose the full problem, which was more than I initially estimated. I thought the problem was limited to the feed tube assembly not delivering water to the top rack. But after watching a few videos on this website I knew I should also check the Chopper because that could also cause water pressure issues. Thank goodness I did because I discovered that the chopper shaft was sheared and the Chopper assembly was lying in pieces in the bottom of the dishwasher. The video not only showed me how to repair this easily but it explained the additional symptoms a broken chopper causes, which matched the symptoms I had. I replaced both parts and it is like we have a brand new dishwasher again. P.S. Their customer service is excellent. Read More...
