Stephen M Carmel , CA June 17, 2020 Poor cleaning especially the top rack / glasses Restored pressure to the top rack spray arm by replacing the water supply tube. The tube in my model has two valves, one of them is supposed to be closed while the other is open and supplying water to the top rack spray arm. This fixed my washer and now it's working fine. Joseph B Hastings , NE January 06, 2020 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS30SXWH1 The rubber seal in the water supply tube where bad The repair took less than 5 minutes. It is too bad that just the rubber seal is not available. Seems wasteful to have to replace the whole tube when nothing else was wrong with it. We also needed a new cap for the jet dry container. The cap alone was not listed but I looked at caps that were available for other units and crossed it over. Thomas R San Antonio , TX August 25, 2017 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS50FVSS3 Not washing thoroughly and leaving glassware etched/stained 'jet dry' fluid was only lasting 2 loads after being filled Disassembled and removed filter hoping to find lots of junk to remove. There was none (I had cleaned this area a year ago). Looked at everything I took out. The Feed tube assembly has two rubber pieces that appear to act as stoppers. One of the two was missing. The spinner at the top of the Feed tube was clogged.I ordered the Feed Tube Assembly which included the spinner and had the new rubber pieces. The water manifold probe has a plastic piece at the end that was bent to one side. Although I could bend it back, I still purchased a new one. I replaced the soap and fluid dispenser with a new model. Waited what seemed like 6 hours but was actually two days for parts to come in from Appliance Parts ProS! Installed everthing that night and it seems to be cleaning and dispensing the proper amount of fluid (at least 3 loads now and the needle moved appropriately.....and did not dump the entire dispenser in two loads. The most difficult part of the repair is replacing the dishwasher front panel which needs to be removed to replace the dispenser. Frustrating but slow down and take your time, it will eventually go back on. Two people might make this easier but in my case it was just me. Sue C Ferndale , CA March 06, 2016 Water leaking out of the front of my dishwasher Saw that it was a broken part in the back. Looked up the model of my dishwasher, got the part number, ordered the part (it arrived very fast). Took bottom and top rack out of machine. Unscrewed two screws. Took out the old tube. Screwed in the new tube. Put the racks back in. Took 20 minutes and saved me the $120 EEL Valley Appliance would have charged. They also wanted $55 for the part. I got it online for $39. Nathan B Columbia City , IN February 16, 2024 One flap on the upper rack gasket broke off and remaining one wouldn't close completely Can't purchase the gasket by itself, so this replaces the supply tube and top spinner. Remove the upper rack. Remove main sprayer by turning nut clockwise. Unclip the two retainers on the top and rear of the washer, and remove the water supply tube by turning it clockwise. Separate this tube from the bottom tube, replace it with the new, and reinstall everything. Lining up this new tube with the retainer clips will take a couple of tries to get it properly seated. Would recommend unscrewing the filter and doing a deep clean while things are disassembled if you didn't already do that while investigating the problem. Read More...
