Opened the box, took out the filter, pulled off the little plastic cover on th doolollies on the end. Sat down on the kitchen stool, reached to the bottom of the refrigerator and pulled out the old filter. Took the little white cover off the end. Pushed the new filter in, exactly as the old filter was positioned, and stuck the little white cover back on. Replaced the grid, and shut the freezer door. Stood up, and pushed the little button-jigger thing next to the yellow light, five times within a ten-second interval, until the light turned green. Closed the refrigerator door. Prior to this, I had to order the filter, and wait a few days until it came. It now costs about 150% of the original price I paid for replacement filters, because they are not stocked in the store, and shippiing charges are quite high.
