How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5983563 / EDR3RXD1 Whirlpool Everydrop Refrigerator Water Filter 3

Ordered arrived quickly. 

Replaced the filter 

Ordered replacement drawer and installed it per instructions 

Put in new water filter 

Replaced water Housing. and electric water diverter. 

My oldest son came to my rescue, since my husband pasted away in December my three boys have been my go to person for things like this. It only took about 10 minutes to replace both and they are working great. Thank you for getting the parts out to me so fast. 

Ordered the part and replaced it 

I went to appliancepartspros.com and ordered the parts i needed to repair my fridge (Kenmore model # 10656532400). The "How to install Video " was a big help and made my repair easy. I installed/repaired my fridge yesterday (January 29, 2016) and so far I don't see any water leaks. My next project is to fix my fridge ice maker and buy the parts in "appliancepartspros.com". 

I found information on your web site that helped me diagnose the problem. It seemed most likely to be the icemaker its self. I watched a video about the installation and my icemaker actually was a little easier to install than the video showed. The icemaker I ordered was the right one and was shipped very quickly. I didn't even remove any frozen food from the freezer as the installation only took a few minutes. The new icemaker is working perfectly. Sure glad I didn't call a repairman.
