How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014281 / WP98017582 Venturi Tube

Parts arrived the next day, even when I selected the cheapest shipping option. Removed broken gas tubes, instered new ones, one end at a time. 

After reading comments from customers who broke their stove while trying to clean under the top, I ordered the part. Remove grates, burners and then remove the little screws next to each burner. The lid will lift up. Wires are still there but not a problem. I used a stick to hold lid up while removing the Venturi, so I wouldn't damaged the wires. I changed out the orifice from my old part to the new part, since I have propane. Installed the new part but had it on backwards. Burner needs to fit in properly so the slots all have to go in the same direction. It took me a while to figure that out. Took the gas line out and turned the U shaped holder around. Installed it again and now it works. Thanks to APP and customers instructions, I fixed my stove. 

Repair service wanted $374.00 to repair the tubes, $200.00 of that was labor. Appliance parts shipped the tubes in two days for $127.00, and I replaced them in ten minutes. Complete success and saved about $250.00

We replaced the Venturi tubes 

The part fit perfect I fix it with an open-end wrench and a crescent wrench. 

Just removed the old ones and replace them with the new pnes. 

I had recently replaced a part for the stove igniter. A gas smell was in the air and the flame on a burner was going out on the low setting. I called our gas company about the problem, they talked me through the process of turning off the gas at the tank, and sent two service men to check the stove. They found the leaks, told me what parts were needed and how to install them. I ordered your replacement parts, was told you did not have an instruction video for them, so followed the instalation directions given by the repairman. Except for getting my husband to crack two very tight nut and bolts for me, I finished the instalation easily. We have lots of handyman tools at home. ; -)
