How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009382 / WP4449253 Inner Oven Door Glass

I ordered the replacement glass and watched the video. The main problem was the hinges on the door were not like the one in the video. Someone else had the same problem and I quickly figured it out from the Q&A section. The website gave me all the answers I needed to replace the glass. Now my oven is working great again. The hinges are not the locking type. The do have holes by the joint. I placed two allen wrenches in the holes of the hinges. It doesn't matter size just as long as they fit. The hole is located by the joint of the hinge. The wrenches then act like the locks you see on the video. Pull the door up and off, and the rest is the same as the video. I now have clean glass and a door that doesn't loose heat. 

Went to you tube, followed the instructions.

Ordered glass and put it in. Only issue was part was on back order. Once it came in, I received it quickly. 

Ordered the glass and watched the video. Received the glass wirhin 4 days and the video took me step by step. You made it do easy. Took me longer to clean the other glass. 

I ordered the part from AppliancesPartsPros.com, watched the video and I started my project soon as the glass came in the mail (ordered on Tuesday and I got the part on Sunday, Thank you for fast response). It is a project, everybody can do. My husband was skeptical about my DYI project but it got done in about 2 hours (I had to make lunch in between, lol). while I have my oven door in parts, I clean every part and glasses. Now my door looks like new!! Thank you very much, 

Located and purchased the glass on the internet through AppliancePartsPros.com, followed installation video on their website. Note: Take pictures of each step while you are disassembling if door video is not your exact door. 

Replaced the glass panel. The door can be easily disconnected from the oven (I found several YouTube videos showing how). Then it's just a matter of removing about 8 screws, removing the interior oven panel and replacing the broken glass panel with the new one. 

First I went to the internet and looked for the model number and part to the oven. I also looked at the videos of people taking apart said oven doors. It was pretty easy but harder than I anticipated. The oven door was heavy, really heavy and that surprised me a little. It was harder to get back together than I anticipated but I finally got it. I did it all by myself. I have no real experience with such things but love it when I can fix something!
