Barbara A Brunswick , ME September 22, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Portables - Stand Mixer KSM90 The gear to run attachments on our kitchenaid mixer stripped and made awful noises We took it apart, diagnosed which gears needed replacing and also ordered grease since ours was hardened with age and full of metal filings. The attachment we like to use separates seeds and skins from the tomato puree really quickly and easily. We took our time doing this repair. Someone else could probably do it quicker. The mixer works better than ever. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Wrench Set
